hold against ~을 안 좋게 보다(to think poorly of someone, typically with the belief of being better than them)
Employee: You know that I'm having a hard time, but you can't hold it against me.
Boss: I don't care what you are struggling with. If you can't do your job, then you're fired.
Employee: Please don't fire me. I know you look down on me, but I can do better.
Boss: Fine, but it seems to me that you just don't feel up to working. Now go do your job before you lose it. This is your last warning.
