(뉴스영어) Seoul citizens choose Han River as capital's representative landmark

A recent survey found that Seoul citizens consider the Han River to be the representative landmark of the capital, while foreign residents voted for Gwanghwamun Square.

The results of the "2023 Seoul Survey" were released on Thursday, after questioning over 35-thousand people in 20-thousand households.

Among Korean respondents, 48-point-3 percent chose the Han River as the capital's representative landmark.

A separate survey of 25-hundred foreign residents of Seoul, showed that 45-point-9 percent chose Gwanghwamun Square.

When asked about the benefits of living in the capital, both surveys had convenient public transportation as the top reason.
